Courchevel has seven Michelin-starred restaurants in 2026, with eleven stars between them. We checked each page on the MICHELIN Guide website in October 2026. The 2026 guide was revealed on 16 March 2026.
Two changes matter if you are working from an older list. Le Chabichou dropped from two stars to one in the 2026 guide. Sarkara, Kintessence and Montgomerie no longer appear among the starred tables.

Which one suits which couple?
- Le Chalet de Pierres serves fondue, a Beaufort tart and a seafood buffet on the terrace. It is also open for afternoon tea until 5 pm.
- Le Cap Horn opened in 1954. The tourist office calls it the oldest altitude restaurant in Courchevel 1850, with a south-facing terrace.
- La Cave des Creux has a terrace with an outdoor fireplace and views over Les 3 Vallées to Mont Blanc. Expect live music, so it is livelier.
- Le Farçon keeps lunch short, from 12 pm to 1 pm. The 45 € Mâchon menu makes a starred lunch easy to fit into a ski day.

Book the dinner first, then build the day around it. Rooms with four or five tables have very few seats, so they go first.

- Book as soon as your dates are fixed, and mention the occasion. Ask whether a quiet table or a window seat is possible.
- Check the closing day. Le 1947 closes on Monday, Slalom 1850 on Sunday, L'Altitude on Wednesday, and Alpage on Monday and Tuesday.
- Plan around the light. The sun sets at 4:50 pm on 15 December 2026 and at 5:58 pm on 14 February 2027, and the peaks hide it a little earlier.
- If you want to propose at the table, tell the restaurant in advance. Any photographer at the meal needs the restaurant's agreement.
- Keep a lunch backup. If the weather turns, a starred lunch at Le Farçon or a long lunch on the slopes can carry the moment.
