They carry their gear on their back and keep pace with you and the children. And you talk to yours directly on WhatsApp before the session.
Riva Photography Courchevel connects you with a private photographer who skis in Courchevel Moriond, the village once called Courchevel 1650, at 1,650 m. For 2026-2027 the Moriond lifts run from 5 December 2026 to 11 April 2027. Sessions suit families on the sunny slopes, Le Signal on a clear day and the village at dusk. Prices start at 590 € for 1 hour and 30 photos, all taxes included.
Courchevel Moriond sits at 1,650 m on what the tourist office calls a naturally sunny balcony, with a relaxed, convivial village life. A Courchevel Moriond photographer from Riva skis with your family from the snow front up to Le Signal at 2,250 m, where Mont Blanc appears in the distance on clear days. Your Courchevel Moriond photoshoot can also take in the Ariondaz gondola and the 3 km Moriond Racing toboggan run, while your photographer in Courchevel 1650 keeps pace with the rhythm of your holiday.

Send us your dates, your hotel or chalet and what you want to keep from the week. We choose the time and places with you: an easy run with a great view, the Altiport at sunset, the chalet terrace. Then we introduce you to your photographer.
Your photographer meets you at the top of the lifts or at the chalet, skis on and gear on their back. They follow your pace and the children's, with no stiff poses and no "everyone look here". After a run or two, nobody thinks about the camera anymore.
A first selection within 48 hours, while you are still in the resort, and your full private gallery within 7 days. Want it warmer, cooler, more contrast? Tell your photographer and we retouch until it's right.
Yes. Courchevel Tourism confirms that Moriond is the current name of the village formerly called Courchevel 1650. It sits at 1,650 m on a sunny balcony, below Courchevel 1850 and above Courchevel Village.
With Riva Photography Courchevel, a session costs 590 € for 1 hour and 30 photos, 790 € for 2 hours and 60 photos, 1,290 € for a half day, 1,970 € for a full day and 2,970 € for a weekend, all taxes included. For sessions on the slopes, the photographer's lift pass is added at the public price.
From Le Signal, at 2,250 m above Courchevel Moriond, reached by the Chapelets or Signal chairlifts. Les 3 Vallées lists it as a viewpoint with Mont Blanc in the distance, so keep it for a day with a clear forecast.
Yes. Courchevel Tourism describes Moriond as having a family atmosphere and wide, sunny slopes, and ESF Courchevel 1650 Moriond runs Club Piou Piou for children aged 3 to 5. A session can follow the end of a lesson on a gentle slope.
The Moriond sector closes on 11 April 2027, a week before Courchevel 1850 and the rest of Les 3 Vallées, which close on 18 April 2027. For a late-season session, the photographer can move the shoot higher up.
Courchevel Tourism sets a minimum age of 8. Children under 1.10 m are not allowed, those between 1.10 m and 1.25 m must ride with an adult, and taller riders go one per sled. Access is with a ski pass or pedestrian pass via the Ariondaz gondola, and for 2026-2027 the run is open from 16 December 2026 to 1 April 2027.
