We only work with professional photographers who are at ease anywhere on the mountain. They know Courchevel in winter: where the view opens up, when the light turns warm on the peaks, which terraces are worth stopping at. They carry their gear on their back and keep pace with you and the children. And you talk to yours directly on WhatsApp before the session.
Riva Photography Courchevel connects you with a private photographer who skis with you into Méribel, the neighbouring valley of Les 3 Vallées, for the 2026-2027 season, which runs from 5 December 2026 to 18 April 2027. Sessions can follow you from Courchevel to Méribel over the day, via La Saulire or the Col de la Loze. Prices start at 590 € for 1 hour and 30 photos, all taxes included.
Méribel sits at the centre of Les 3 Vallées, one ridge away from Courchevel, and its villages, from Méribel Village at 1,400 m to Méribel-Mottaret at 1,750 m, follow a charter of wood, stone and slate roofs. A Méribel photographer from Riva skis over from Courchevel, so your Méribel photoshoot can take in La Saulire, the Roc de Fer and the shores of Lac de Tuéda in a single day. You enjoy the mountain, and your photographer in Méribel keeps the pictures coming.
From your first WhatsApp message to your final gallery, here's exactly what happens.
Send us your dates, your hotel or chalet and what you want to keep from the week. We choose the time and places with you: an easy run with a great view, the Altiport at sunset, the chalet terrace. Then we introduce you to your photographer.
Your photographer meets you at the top of the lifts or at the chalet, skis on and gear on their back. They follow your pace and the children's, with no stiff poses and no "everyone look here". After a run or two, nobody thinks about the camera anymore.
A first selection within 48 hours, while you are still in the resort, and your full private gallery within 7 days. Want it warmer, cooler, more contrast? Tell your photographer and we retouch until it's right.
With Riva Photography Courchevel, a session costs 590 € for 1 hour and 30 photos, 790 € for 2 hours and 60 photos, 1,290 € for a half day, 1,970 € for a full day and 2,970 € for a weekend, all taxes included. For sessions on the slopes, the photographer's lift pass is added at the public price.
Yes. Méribel is connected to Courchevel on skis within Les 3 Vallées, so your photographer can follow you from one valley to the next over a full day. For resorts beyond Méribel and Val Thorens, travel costs are included in your quote.
A Les 3 Vallées pass, as the Courchevel Valley pass does not cover Méribel. In high season, from 19 December 2026 to 9 April 2027, the official adult one-day price is 84.20 €, added to your quote at the public price.
At the Col de la Loze, at 2,304 m, whose panorama Les 3 Vallées describes as stretching over both valleys, or at La Saulire, at 2,740 m, the crossroads of Méribel and Courchevel. Both are reached on skis, and summit sessions are best planned before the lifts close in the late afternoon.
Yes. The Les 3 Vallées pedestrian pass costs 31.40 € per day for winter 2026-2027 and gives access to the lifts open to pedestrians. In the valley, the free Méribus shuttle runs from Méribel Centre to the Châtelet stop, by the Plan de Tuéda nature reserve.
Rescheduling is free when you ask more than 72 hours before the session; below that, 10% of the price is due. On a cloudy day, the photographer can also move the session to the village or to the cembro pines around Lac de Tuéda.
