We only work with professional photographers who are at ease anywhere on the mountain. They know Courchevel in winter: where the view opens up, when the light turns warm on the peaks, which terraces are worth stopping at. They carry their gear on their back and keep pace with you and the children. And you talk to yours directly on WhatsApp before the session.
Riva Photography Courchevel connects you with a private photographer who skis for a session in La Tania, the forest village of Courchevel at 1,400 m. Sessions run from 590 € for one hour and 30 photos, all taxes included, at your chalet, in the village or on the slopes. In 2026-2027 the La Tania lifts run from 5 December 2026 to 11 April 2027.
La Tania sits in a forest clearing at 1,400 m, a calm base that Courchevel Tourism describes as designed from the start to blend into the landscape. A La Tania photographer can start at your chalet, ride the village gondola with you and follow your family down the green Plan Fontaine run through the forest. For a La Tania photoshoot on skis or in the snow-covered pines, Riva Photography Courchevel puts you in touch with a photographer in La Tania who skis.
From your first WhatsApp message to your final gallery, here's exactly what happens.
Send us your dates, your hotel or chalet and what you want to keep from the week. We choose the time and places with you: an easy run with a great view, the Altiport at sunset, the chalet terrace. Then we introduce you to your photographer.
Your photographer meets you at the top of the lifts or at the chalet, skis on and gear on their back. They follow your pace and the children's, with no stiff poses and no "everyone look here". After a run or two, nobody thinks about the camera anymore.
A first selection within 48 hours, while you are still in the resort, and your full private gallery within 7 days. Want it warmer, cooler, more contrast? Tell your photographer and we retouch until it's right.
Sessions start at 590 € for one hour and 30 photos, then 790 € for two hours, 1,290 € for a half day, 1,970 € for a full day and 2,970 € for a weekend, all taxes included. For sessions on the slopes, the photographer's lift pass is added at the public price.
Yes. A session can start at your chalet or residence in La Tania and continue on the slopes. La Tania has direct access to the Courchevel ski area by gondola, so there is no transfer to organise between the village and the pistes.
Les 3 Vallées gives 5 December 2026 to 11 April 2027 for the La Tania lifts. The main Courchevel area stays open until 18 April 2027, so a last-week session is still possible higher up, but not straight from the village.
Yes. Courchevel Tourism describes La Tania as human-scaled, calm and easy to navigate, with a family-friendly atmosphere. Snowy pines, gentle forest runs and accommodation close to the slopes make it simple to photograph young skiers without long walks.
Rescheduling is free if you ask more than 72 hours before the session. In cloudy weather, the forest around La Tania keeps more contrast than the open summits, which often makes the village a good fallback setting.
The first photos arrive within 48 hours and the full gallery within 7 days. The partner photographer invoices you directly, and Riva Photography Courchevel handles the introduction and booking on WhatsApp.
