- Le 1947 à Cheval Blanc is very small: Michelin describes just five tables, with cooking built on Savoie ingredients and Alléno's sauces.
- Slalom 1850 is led by a chef trained at L'Oustau de Baumanière in Provence, and Michelin describes a menu that moves between local ingredients, winter flavours and Provençal inspiration.
- Sylvestre Wahid serves about 15 guests per sitting at four tables, according to Michelin, pairing seafood with Pakistani-inspired spices. Courchevel Tourism listed it as currently closed when we checked, so confirm before planning around it.
- Le Chabichou offers set menus built on three themes: the chef's childhood memories, the Savoie terroir and travels in Japan.
- L'Altitude was newly awarded its star in the 2026 guide and focuses on French classics.
- Alpage, at the Annapurna, reworks Savoie flavours with an open kitchen.
- Le Farçon in La Tania draws on Savoie, Piedmont and the Mediterranean, and Michelin notes it can be reached on skis.

Courchevel's mountain restaurants range from historic altitude chalets to lively lunch venues. These are listed by Courchevel Tourism as restaurants on the ski area.
- Le Cap Horn, on the route de l'Altiport in Courchevel 1850, opened in 1954 and is described by the tourist office as the oldest altitude restaurant in Courchevel 1850. It has a south-facing terrace and a broad menu from Savoyard dishes to seafood and pizzas.
- La Cave des Creux, at 2,112 m above Courchevel 1850, occupies a former sheepfold and cheese maturing cellar. It is run by young locals who are also ski instructors and has a large south-facing terrace with an outdoor fireplace.
- Le Chalet de Pierres, on the Verdons piste at the Jardin Alpin, calls itself a Courchevel institution. It serves Savoyard dishes such as fondue, tartiflette and a Beaufort tart, has a separate seafood counter and a homemade dessert buffet.
- Bagatelle Courchevel, at the top of the Chenus gondola, serves French Mediterranean food and is listed as a dancing restaurant, so expect a party atmosphere.
- Le Panoramic, at La Saulire, is a restaurant on the slopes at one of the resort's high points.

- Le Bel Air, at the top of the Ariondaz gondola above Courchevel Moriond, can also be reached on foot and serves traditional cooking on a south-facing terrace.
For a lunch break on a family ski day, places that non-skiers can also reach, such as Le Bel Air or Les Verdons, make it easier to bring the whole group together. See our guide to Courchevel with kids for more.
Where can you eat well in the villages without a tasting menu?
