We only work with professional photographers who are at ease anywhere on the mountain. They know Courchevel in winter: where the view opens up, when the light turns warm on the peaks, which terraces are worth stopping at. They carry their gear on their back and keep pace with you and the children. And you talk to yours directly on WhatsApp before the session.
Riva Photography Courchevel photographs in Megève on request, in Haute-Savoie, outside Les 3 Vallées: the photographer travels by road and the travel costs are set out in your quote before booking. Megève's lifts run from 19 December 2026 to 4 April 2027 for the general season. Sessions start at 640 € for one hour and 30 photos, all taxes included.
Megève is a Savoyard village at 1,113 m in Haute-Savoie, at the heart of the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which links seven resorts and 445 km of slopes. A Megève photographer from Riva can follow you on skis at Mont d'Arbois or Rochebrune, then through the pedestrian streets of the old village. For a Megève photoshoot or a ski photoshoot in Megève, book on request: the session is planned around your dates and the travel from Courchevel.
From your first WhatsApp message to your final gallery, here's exactly what happens.
Send us your dates, your hotel or chalet and what you want to keep from the week. We choose the time and places with you: an easy run with a great view, the Altiport at sunset, the chalet terrace. Then we introduce you to your photographer.
Your photographer meets you at the top of the lifts or at the chalet, skis on and gear on their back. They follow your pace and the children's, with no stiff poses and no "everyone look here". After a run or two, nobody thinks about the camera anymore.
A first selection within 48 hours, while you are still in the resort, and your full private gallery within 7 days. Want it warmer, cooler, more contrast? Tell your photographer and we retouch until it's right.
Yes, on request. Megève is in Haute-Savoie, in the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, and is not linked on skis to Les 3 Vallées, so the photographer travels by road. Send your dates and where you are staying, and the quote states the travel costs before you book.
The Megève ski area gives a general opening from 19 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, with partial openings on 5 and 6 December and from 12 December 2026, depending on snow. Sessions in the village can also be planned outside these dates.
The same prices apply as in Courchevel: 640 € for one hour and 30 photos, 990 € for two hours and 60 photos, 1,290 € for a half day, 1,970 € for a full day and 2,970 € for a weekend, all taxes included, plus travel costs and, for sessions on the slopes, the photographer's lift pass at the public price.
On skis, Mont d'Arbois for the views over the Mont-Blanc massif and Rochebrune for the views over the village. On foot, the Place de l'Église and the pedestrian streets around it, where horse-drawn sleighs wait in winter.
Yes. The photographer can start at your chalet or hotel, then continue in the village or on the slopes, within the length of the formula you choose.
