Riva Photography Courchevel connects you with a private photographer who skis in Courchevel Le Praz, the historic village at 1,300 m, once called Courchevel 1300. Sessions use the lake, the bell tower, the narrow streets and the Olympic ski jumps, and the snowy forest keeps contrast on cloudy days. The Praz gondola links the village to Courchevel 1850. Prices start at 590 € for 1 hour, all taxes included.
Courchevel Le Praz is the historic village of the resort, built around its lake, bell tower and narrow streets, with a more local feel and Savoyard traditions. A Courchevel Le Praz photographer from Riva knows how to use the Lac du Praz, the Olympic ski jumps of the 1992 Games and the surrounding forest, which keeps your pictures readable when the summits are in cloud. Your Courchevel Le Praz photoshoot can then ride the Praz gondola up to Courchevel 1850, so your photographer in Courchevel 1300 covers village and slopes in one session.

Send us your dates, your hotel or chalet and what you want to keep from the week. We choose the time and places with you: an easy run with a great view, the Altiport at sunset, the chalet terrace. Then we introduce you to your photographer.
Your photographer meets you at the top of the lifts or at the chalet, skis on and gear on their back. They follow your pace and the children's, with no stiff poses and no "everyone look here". After a run or two, nobody thinks about the camera anymore.
A first selection within 48 hours, while you are still in the resort, and your full private gallery within 7 days. Want it warmer, cooler, more contrast? Tell your photographer and we retouch until it's right.
Yes. Courchevel Le Praz is the current name of the village formerly called Courchevel 1300. At 1,300 m it is the lowest of Courchevel's five ski villages, and the tourist office presents it as the historic village of the resort.
With Riva Photography Courchevel, a session costs 590 € for 1 hour and 30 photos, 790 € for 2 hours and 60 photos, 1,290 € for a half day, 1,970 € for a full day and 2,970 € for a weekend, all taxes included. For sessions on the slopes, the photographer's lift pass is added at the public price.
The Lac du Praz, a stone's throw from the village centre, the Olympic ski jumps, the bell tower and narrow streets of the old village, and the forest that surrounds Le Praz.
Yes. Bordered by forests, Le Praz keeps contrast when the summits are hidden in cloud, so it is a natural plan B when the high viewpoints such as La Saulire are not visible.
Yes. The Praz gondola links Le Praz to Courchevel 1850 in about 6 minutes in winter, and free shuttles connect all the villages, so a session can start by the lake and finish on the higher slopes.
Yes. Courchevel Tourism notes that Le Praz works for a non-ski or mixed stay thanks to its lake, walks and shops. The marked winter loop "Le tour du Praz" covers 2.5 km in about 1 hour from the village centre towards the Olympic ski jumps, so a session can stay entirely on foot.
